Boko Haram Attempt To Blow Up Airport In Abuja Foiled
According to an official statement released by the DSS, it was stated that the terrorists sect used a fourteen-year old boy to gather information inside the airport including boarding procedures and passengers’ movement inside the departure and arrival halls.
The statement also stated that the boy, whose name is Sulaiymon Abdulraman, from Kogi state, was arrested inside the airport. The boy claimed that he had been led on by his criminal companion – Dauda Sadiq also known as Peter.
However, Sadiq is said to be still at large.
It was gathered that the DSS, in conjuction with security department of the aviation, is still conducting investigation on this case to prevent any possible acts of terror in the future.
Meanwhile, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has promised Nigerians the army will meet meet the deadline given by President Muhammadu Buhari to crush the Boko Haram insurgency.
