Speedy Assistance
by: Anonymous

You have been doing very well being a voice for the voiceless. Here is a big thank you.
Something has been bothering me for some time now. I really want to know how long does it take for the brekete family to assist an individual. Am asking because a case was brought to you a few months ago and up till now nothing is heard.
A man was untimely retired from the civil service without reason. This man came to you, and yet he has not heard anything.

Injustice on employees of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana-Afikpo,Ebonyi State
by: Anonymous

Since January this year our Rector has been deducting our salary claiming it's from the Honorable Minister of Education,he has refused to pay our old entitlements like 55% arrears, excess workload/overtime,recently he is deducting 7.5% from our salaries claiming it's our pension while we all know that pension is deducted from source. We have tried dialogue but it failed and today Academic Staff Union members declared an indefinite strike untill all their demands are met and the Rector is threatening workers with "no work,no pay". Let the minister's of Finance ,Education as well as EFCC hear about this, our salary for June was paid on the 11th of July,it's unfair to us and our family members.

Genetically Modified Organisms
by: Ayodele Sadiq

Dear Brekete Family, am making this contribution to your radio discussion of last Tuesday concerning Genetically Modified Foods. This write up gives many reasons why GMO foods must NEVER be allowed to penetrate our food system in Nigeria. Following from the responses emanating from the Director General of the Biotechnology Centre, it appears that the people who are supposed to protect us from the potential hazards of GMOs are the people promoting it. Could it be a case of the monstrous multinational companies who market these products having ‘overrun’ our institutions as is the case in the US, where renowned scientists have been harassed, blackmailed, and sometimes even out rightly dismissed for airing their informed views against GMOs. Please read on;
1. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) are made by forcing genes from one species, such as bacteria, viruses, animals, or humans, into the DNA of a food crop or animal to introduce a new trait.
2. Scientists combine desirable genes from various species to create NEW genetically altered crosses with enhanced nutritional, productive and ecological value.
3. These processes of combining inter species genes (Recombinant DNA Technology) or the genetic transference between unrelated species does not occur biologically in nature and so do not have the checks and balances that are imposed by nature in traditional breeding. Genes do not work in isolation. A change or two changes the whole system with unpredictable results.
4. GMO tech is a Trojan horse that multinational companies are trying to use to seize control of global food supplies since GMO seeds cannot be replanted but have to be supplied every season by the multinational seed companies, thus further impoverishing our farmers.
5. In the United States of America, where 90% of their food is GMO, there has been little study of the long term effects of consuming GMO food, yet, research journals, respected institutes, and even government officials are quick to defend it as proven safe. The reason is because 80 to 90 percent of total research budget in the US and Britain are dependent on corporate sponsors, and hence corporate acceptance of their research and results in fulfillment of the saying that ‘He who pays the piper ……..’
6. In 2003, for example in the US, researchers reviewed published, peer reviewed animal feeding studies that qualified as safety assessment. There were ten. The correlation between the findings and funding was telling. Five studies ‘’performed in collaboration with private companies’’ reported no adverse effects. In the three independent studies, ‘’adverse effects were observed’’.

DOCUMENTED HEALTH RISKS OF GMOs
A few documented deleterious effects of GMO are under listed:
1. Monsanto, an agrochemical company, who are also responsible for producing RoundUp herbicide, introduced Bt cotton in India in the early 1980s. The cotton variety was touted as capable of doubling yields as well as being resistant to insect pests. Since then, there have been more than 300,000 suicides among farmers related to GMO crop failures and indebtedness of farmers who were unable to liquidate the loans they took from financial institutions.
2. Rats fed with GM potatoes developed potentially precancerous cell growth in the digestive tract. Brain, liver, and testicles development were inhibited. Pancreas and intestines were enlarged and the immune system was damaged. It is pertinent to mention that GM foods in the market, which were created by the same process, have not undergone such extensive testing protocol.
3. Rats fed Monsanto’s Bt corn for 90 days showed significant changes in blood cells, livers and kidneys which might indicate disease. Monsanto used unscientific, contradictory arguments to dismiss concerns.
4. After cotton harvests in parts of India, sheep grazed continuously on Bt cotton plants. Twenty five percent of the sheep died.
5. Twelve dairy cows died in Hesse Germany after being fed with a diet with significant amounts of GM corn variety Bt 176. Syngenta, the producers of Bt 176, compensated the farmer for part of his losses, but did not accept responsibility for the cow deaths.
South Africa was the first African country to approve Bt cotton in 1988. Egypt, Sudan, and Burkina Faso are producing GM crops. The success or not of them all are still mired in controversy.
Zambia was the first African country to reject GMO food aid during a food shortage in 2002. They eventually overcame the food crisis and made Africa proud.
My Ordinary President, the above is just in brief. I could go on ad infinitum. Just know that you must exert ALL courage and connection you can summon to prevent the introduction of Biotech seeds and food crops into our beloved country. The simple and paramount reason that it stands to destroy our God given BIODIVERSITY is enough to shut our door in their faces. HEMBELEMBEEEEE!!!!!!!!!.
My name is Ayodele Sadiq. 08180627344, 08069568822. I look forward to the discussion on Friday, June 3rd 2016.

Save Our Souls - Ordinary Ahmed Isah.
by: Anonymous

Ordinary Ahmed Isah and the Hembelembeh family, good evening. I want to table a complain before you so that can help us.
I and other people were employed at different times by the College of Education Akwanga, Nasarawa State, but mine was in 2007, on Contract. We served the College very well but in February 2011, we were relieved of our appointments without any Contract Gratuity, Contract Addition or Leave Grant, yet these things are stated in the College Condition of Service Handbook, which was hidden from us but we now have. We have gone to Legal Aids Council to arbitrate between us and the College but to no avail. We later went to Public Complaint Commission in Lafia, where the College were told to pay us our entitlements since it is captured in their Terms and Condition of Service Handbook and in Civil Service generally. We submitted our last payslips as requested by the College, only for the issue to be swept under the carpet.
We were lucky to put a call across to the Provost of the College, who confessed that we were treated unfairly and unjustly (her voice is recorded on CD, which will be presented to you on request).
We have suffered. Our landlords have endured and are tired of excuses of no money for house rents. Our children are out of school. We can't even provide 2 square meals for our families. Some of us are deceased as a result of not been able to carter for the family. We have been insulted by our inlaws, we can hardly work on the streets.
All efforts made to see the Provost and/or the Registrar over this issue has proved abortive. Please Sir, we are dying. We need your help to persuade Management of College of Education Akwanga to pay us all our entitlements as soon as possible. We trust in your ability to help the less privileged. You are truly a Voice for the Voiceless. Thank you Sir. Contact: 08036073033, 08156941334.

Fake Credit Alert
by: Anonymous

The issue:
My cousin want to sell his vehicle and placed his phone number (08066125771) on it. Someone called and approached him that he is interested. They agreed on amount. Unknown to my cousin, the guy is a fraudster. The fraudster sent customized sms showing that the payment of seven hundred thousand (#700,000.00) naira had been made into my cousin's First Bank account. On receipt of the text, my cousin handed the vehicle and the documents including a copy of the agreement to the fraudster not knowing that the text is fake. The next day my cousin went to the bank to withdraw the money, the bank told him that no such money was credited into his account. And he called me to explain what happened. In the explanation, he told me that the sender name is his bank name. I was like "are you kidding me!". How possible?

When he came to show me the text, we discovered the fraudster's trick. He inserted a letter "a" in between First and Bank (FirstaBank) as the sender name. Thus, the sender name is FirstaBank instead of FirstBank.

Deduction:
Bank may have revealed a customer's account balance to fraudster (else how possible they knew my cousin's balance).

Request:
How can your office help us ensure that Nigerian Police and EFCC can be serious with this case? How can we track the fraudster, since the money is a huge one (N700,000.00 )? We have only the fraudster's phone number (09034270239).

NB: My cousin reported to the Life Camp Police Station but they told him to pay #20,000.00 to enable them start investigation. Police are treating it as if it is not a serious issue.

Looking forward to your team's advice.

Thanks.

Report of and fraud
by: Anonymous

Good day Sir, Please i want you to help me
and my family.
On the 23rd of december 2013 my husband purchased a car from
a car stand.
CAR MAKE: TOYOTA CAMRY
VEHICLE TYPE: SALOON
COLOUR: ASH
CHASIS NUMBER: 4TIBE46K69U82956
ENGINE NO: 2A29216138
MODEL: 2009
WITH THE SUM OF ONE MILLION FIVE
HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY
(#1520,000)
The car which had an accident on the 28th
of september 2013 while on repairs my
husband was arrested and detained by some
group of SAS guy that the car was stolen and
the called was made to my husband by the
same lawyer who wrote the agreement and
sign. And my husband had to bail himself
with the sum of sixty thousand naira and
returned the car to them after recovering
from that shock and waiting patiently to see
what JAY GLOBAL AUTO MOTOR ARE going to
do about his money and persisting calling them and yet nothing
was done.
We petition him on the 19th of feb. 2015 at
FCT command and it was acknowledge and
minuted to the CID unit for investigation.
the CID unit assigned an IPO from the
finger print unit by name inspector Thomas
who then carry out and ivestigation which
lasted for four month and claim that the
suspect went into hiding and all effort to
arrest/invite him proved abortive.
When we saw that with him the case was
going no where, we mate with the ACP IN
CHARGE of the CID UNIT who then re-
assigned the case to another IPO inspector
Mathew who then invited the suspect to the
station took thier statement detained them
for three days of which the admited to the
crime base on thier statement and plead to
refund the money he fraudulently obtained
by making a deposit of the sum of TWO
HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA(#200,000) as
part payment with the rest of the money to
be refunded a week later.
Only for the IPO inspector Mathew to give us
a breaking news which proove why inspector
Thomas refuse to work on the case, which is
that he was summoned by his superior and
odered to return the deposite back to the
suspect and warned never to harras them
again. What about us the voiceless if this
matter should go to the court we will spent
and still loose couple with the present
situation of our legal system if this police
officers can be bought then the judges are
not an exception but you from your previous
humanitarian services i no you can't buy
that insult.
I therefore appeal to you to use your good
office to save my husband from the hand of
this fraudsters. Please with due respect
Berekete Family all i need is my right
because i no what my husband has pass true
ever since this issue took place.
Thanks in anticipatio.

Removing of Road Accident Victim from Road/Expressway
by: Adekunle

Good morning Nigerians, Ordinary Ahmed Isah and Brekete Family at large.
On my way going home on Thursday, 10th Sept., 2015. around 7 pm. I and other passengers in the car saw a man lying across the service lane between Sabon Lugbe and Aco, Musa Yar'adua Expressway. We intend to stop and take him off the road but on the second thought we could not take him off the road and from the look of the man, is as if the man is dead or thereabout.
I am using this medium to call on the appropriate authorities to encourage Nigerians to help in this kind of situation of not accusing someone that want to help to become the accused and on the other hand, people too should not use it to do evil on the premise of helping.

FIRS:Top Official Threatens to Petition EFCC Over Unpaid N1.2 Billion Drivers’ Wage Scandal
Posted by Newsdiaryonline
An unexpected scandal is rocking the Federal Inland Revenue Service,FIRS headquarters in Abuja. The trouble about to blow open may even culminate in some drivers staging a protest against the leadership of Alhaji Kabir Mohammed Mashi the acting Chairman ,FIRS.
But Mashi may be having more troubles to worry about than a looming protest by drivers, according to informed sources. It is Mashi’s attempt to sack drivers who are contract staff of the organization that has blown the lid over a scam which is now threatening some topshots.
The acting chairman was alleged to have asked a senior official(names withheld ) to do a memo sacking the contract staff of the contract staff. But the official who possibly smelt a rat ,asked a vital question:a source said the official told Mashi he would only append his signature to such a memo sacking the contract staff if the drivers’ outstanding wages were paid.
Insiders said officials at FIRS have discovered that contract workers were being paid just 50% of their entitlement for nearly three years, contrary to what is believed to be theamount apprpoved by the FIRS board about three years ago .The FIRS board was said to have approved N100,000 as the monthly salary for each drivers. But sources claim that not all of the drivers have gotten the approved wages.
While drivers who are considered permanent workers are paid about N96,000 per month, (perhaps minus for taxes),the contract staff initially received only N45,000 each. The contract drivers’ wage was increased to N50,000 per month.By implication, each driver has been paid N50,000 less than the approved wage. But there is the question ,where has the outstanding wage meant for contract staff gone to all these years?

Convinced that there has been an outstanding wage bill which ought to be paid to the drivers on contract service, this top official refused to pen a memo sacking them. The official is said to have insisted that the outstanding wage which is about N1.2 billion be produced and given to the contact workers since it is their entitlement.
This crisis is said to have led to serious disagreement among the topshots of the service .At some point the recalcitrant official was allegedly threatened with a sack after some interventions and attempts to get him softpedal failed.
Newsdiaryonline.com learnt that the official too has threatened to petition the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC if any measures are taken against him.One point of disagreement ,it was learnt was that the top official is opposed to an attempt to raise the outstanding money from the FIRS purse .
Attempt to speak with the official in the eye of the storm failed as he did not answer the call to his number.

NON PERFORMANCE OF A LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN OF YORRO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

Unpaid training allowances and salaries
by: Anonymous

Pls try to visit the issue of road safety recruitment in December 2014 and unpaid allowances for those recruited (3600 people)for about 7 months while they were on training. Other agencies recruit, Train and pay salaries at the end, why would they not be paid. They were registered on IPPIS far back December 2014 meaning their pays have been running. Corruption would hardly stop in this country if this go free because how do you expect them to start life on the job. They were posted to various parts of the country leaving them to struggle to get uniform talk more of accommodation.

School Challenge
by: Ikeogu Gabriel

My name is Ikeogu Gabriel. I am from Anambra State. Am currently a final year law student in Anambra State University (now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University).
I don't know this Brekete Family too well. It is my brother's friend who resides in Abuja wen I contacted him for help referred me to you and gave me your contact.
By the end of this month of July, 2015, I will conclude my degree program in the university. It is from there that I will proceed to the Nigerian Law School from where I will be called to Bar.
This Nigerian Law School is approximately a 1 year program which is a must for every graduate of law, and a prerequisite to becoming a lawyer in Nigeria.
My big challenge now which if nothing is done about it will jeopardize the efforts I have made for the past five years in pursuit of this my dream of becoming a lawyer and useful to the society is footing the cost of this Law School Program which will cost approximately seven hundred thousand naira (#700,000).
I am actually from an indigent family. It is through my sweat and with the help of my uncle that I was able to pay my fees in the university. This my uncle told me that he cannot continue because of the responsibility of training his own daughter who got admission into the university last year. I have no other person to run to, I have no other person to ask for help. Through the grace of God, I have been able to raise #200,000 remaining #500,000.
Please in the name of God, I humble solicit for your help and support in raising this remaining #500,000, so that the efforts and all that I have invested for the past five years will not be in vain.
Any amount raised with respect to this my request will highly be appreciated.
I can be reached through 08037690535.
I am looking forward for your positive reply.
Thanks.

We write to introduce to you Mr. Henry Okey Okwara. He is 38 Years old, male and hails from Imo State. He lives at No 23 Ogunshefunmi Street, Anifowoshe, Ikeja. Among other schools of learning he attended Command Secondary School Abakaliki Ebonyi State, Class of 1995, Lagos state college of education Epe, 1999- 2002 and University of Ado Ekiti, 2002-2005. He is an English Language graduate. He is also married to lovely Mrs. Olayemi Okwara.
In 2007, just 3 months after his wedding, Okey discovered he had a tumor on his spine. Due to stress and pains the growing tumor was beginning to cause, he was advised to have it removed. Being a struggling young man from an average Nigerian Family, finances were gathered and he was taken to India for the operation. Like some untold stories, the surgery was unsuccessful. Okey’s spinal cord was punctured and that error could not be corrected there. He was brought back home paralyzed and unable to breathe without the aid of an oxygen machine. That was 7 years ago. Last year, an old friend made some inquiries about his whereabouts and went in search of him. That singular visit brought Okey to the spotlight. More people became aware of the condition he has been living these past years.
However there is still hope for Okey to walk again. A group of friends and old school mates have come together to help him take that step of faith. A hospital in USA , Shephard Center have looked into his medical reports from India and Nigeria and having accessed his current condition through pictures and video recording of him, will be performing a corrective surgery and rehabilitation on him in Atlanta USA.(A video coverage of him is also available on your request). The hospital has sent a request to the Nigerian High commission in Lagos requesting for Okey to come over as soon as possible.
In order to reach our goal, we seek your support financially to enable us help Okechukwu. A breakdown of some of the expectations is listed below and also a copy of the letter from the Center in Atlanta. Please help us in our fight for this cause, as your heart wills through your support.

Please come to our aid.
by: CHIKERE

Good day mr President, our President, it's with deep feelings that I write to you at this point. I am from IMO State and reside here in IMO.
I overheard some people when they where having some conversations in regards to this program, and I decided to brows on the name, and thank GOD here I am.
Please,we have few plots of land some where here in owerri, and as a mater of fact, the land was acquired even before my parents gave birth to me. But there is this man in that area who has been a treath to us in that area, this land was fenced with a gate and a boys quater in that same compound. Now, few months ago, this man knocked down our fence, some shops that where still under construction,he knocked down as well, claming dat some parts of the land belongs to him, this land has been ours since 1982. Now he went as far as taking us to court, now,few months ago, we aked him if he was behind the vandalization at our property, buh he denied he has no hand on it,but last month when we started wrking on the fence once more,he came with a Police officer treating us that the property belong to him, that he would knock dwn the fence and shop again, and the Police man he came with was the same man I reported the matter to when they vandalized the fence and denied,so this time around I made the Police man to understand that he was the one behind the initial demolition of our property.
Sir,please this man has been given so many people problems in this town, simply because he feels he has money for case and most people end up settling him with a particular amount as soon as he establishes a case in some oncesa property.my Name is Chikere Elec Njaka, and 08037848500 is my mobile num, and elecnjaka@gmail.com is my mail address Sir. Thanks and GOD bless as u continue to do these good work.

Different types of taxes and levies imposed on shop owners in AMAC.
by: Anonymous

Dear ordinary President Ahmad Isa

God bless you and protect you for the good job you are doing to the voiceless Nigerians.

May i however use this medium to draw your attention to an unholy practice going on in name of revenue collection in the AMAC area council area, especially in the Karo area.

Two private companies, Micro Vission Ltd and GIMAN AGENCY NIG LTD (07086038325, 08033346058 and 08034316682,08186658976) respectively.

GIMAN was charged with the responsibilities of collecting levies and demand notice for registration and renewal of hotels, guest inns, cafes, restuarants, bakeries, and othwr food/water related establisment in AMAC in ' accordance with Nigeria Constitution Fourth Schedule Section 7 (K) (iv) and the AMAC By - Law (CAP 6) of 2002 in force in AMAC; while Micro Vision is to collect revenues and Levis for Operational Permits for shops and Kiosks.

The worrisome part of it is that, GIMAN AGENCY does collects revenues from both Shops and Kiosks. Some times shop owners are made to pay twice a year.
Take for instance a receipts for payment was issued 10/9/2014 but only to turn around in 20/05/2015 for another payment. One can really understand rational for that and when you argue thawith them your shop pad locked until it is paid.

Shops Kiosk are some some time s kept under lock and key for weeks decide the fact that, section 21 subsection 3, 4 prevents revenues officers and/or collectors from setting up roadblocks and or forceable closure of revenue prayers place of business.

Thank you sir.

non payment of salary
by: Anonymous

Good day Sir (My Ordinary President).
I am an ardent listener of your radio programme.
I am a staff of MSS (Midwives Service Scheme) under NPHCDA.
The salary arrangement is contributory. National contributes its own part while the Area council we are posted to work also contributes its own. Sir for the past 7 months NPHCDA have not pay while AMAC Area council owes 8 months.
Sir we defer all odds to work in rural areas leaving our families behind and at the end we are treated as slaves. Those at the helm of affairs have family, they collect salary to take care of them while leaving us penniless.
We also have families to take care of. LET THEM PAY US OUR SALARY.
Sir you can make your inquiry to know the truth.
God Almighty bless you for your good works Sir.

Non Payment of Farmers affected by Bird flu
by: Anonymous

Wuna Hembelembe oh! I want to report this matter to the President of this family. About 2months ago, there was outbreak of bird flu in Nigeria (beginning from Lagos & Kano). A week later, it broke out in Jos, where I live. On 2nd February, 2015 the disease entered my poultry farm at State Low Cost area in Jos. The Minister of Agric, Dr Akinwunmi Adesina publicly said that federal govt will pay any affected farmer N1,450 per chicken within 72hours after their workers come and kill the birds. On thursday, 5th Feb, 2015, the representative of Federal and State Ministry of Agric came to my farm and killed over 5,300 chickens on my farm. Uptill now the government is yet to pay me and many other farmers affected. They are not even talking to us. I suspect that they want election to come first, but you know that due to uncertainty of the election, after the election they may not pay. Instead of payment in 72 hours that the Minister promised, it is now close to 1,200hours yet no news. The poultry farm is my family's means of livelihood. I am yet to pay my children's school fees. Please Ordinary Ahmad Isa, help me pursue this matter. I am ready to come to Abuja anytime to see you. Pls if u have whatsapp account, send it to my no. 08037021486 so that I can send you pictures of the destruction of my chickens.

Getting to know Ahmed
by: Ogwo Andrew

Happy new year my ordinary president. I have a big question to ask you. My bible tells me that know man can predict the time of the second coming of Jesus Christ. My president; as a thief, you have stolen the heart of ordinary Nigerians and the less privileged with your benevolent acts.As a human being, you have proved that every man is equal before God,irrespective of tribe, religion or country. As a sturbon person, you've set a standard for top government officials to emulate. As an ordinary president, you lead by examples, because I have been following your programme for over 2 year now. My question to you is: ARE YOU CHRIST THAT IS TO COME THE SECOND TIME? Hembelembeee.

God Bless Brekete Family
by: Catherine Peter

My prayer for Brekete Family is that God will continue to protect and guide them. They have been wonderful. Although, I am a widow who has not benefited materially or otherwise from the family but may the almighty bless this family for the good work they are doing in this nation. The great musician,Bongos Ikwue in his song said , if you are opportuned to have, remember your brothers or sisters who are struggling to make ends meet. I would like to re-echo the fact that we shall not live this world with any material possessions. It is my prayer this year,2015, that God will touch the hearts of men and women of this nation to draw closer to God. God Bless you and Happy New Year!

by: Etim Okon

Happy new year to Ordinary Ahmed & entire Brekete family studio. Welcome to 2015. Please, kindly invite to the radio studio and interview the head of NigComSat (Nigeria Satellite Communication service) to inform Nigerians of the relevance of his organization to the Nigerian nation. in view of growing insecurity and insurgency. What is the justification for $7.9 billions used to establish the satellite service commission? And what is their scorecard in 2014 ? if no relevance for this orgaanization, why does FGN continue to fund a useless entity that exists only in name ?

A teacher ... in Junior Secondary school phase 4 kubwa asked her students to watch a pornographic movies and write its importance as well as what they see. She went on to tell them to buy the magazine if they can't watch it. The test carries 20 marks. So far many concerned parents have complained to school authorites but they are handling this immoral and devlish conduct with levity. Brekete family please lend your voice to this because children will expose themselve to this and ruin their lives. This teacher needs to be punished too.

ceasing of kekenapeps in FCT-Abuja
by: Anonymous

Good day,
Sir, we really need your help on above subject matter because of ALLAH.
Our kekenapeps which we bought mostly from the Bank loan and high purchase has been in the custody V.I.O Mabushi, Abuja division for about two (2)months. All effort to get back was not successful. As a result of this, we are seriously in hardship in the sense that we find it difficult to feed our selves and to payback the loan.
please, assist us for the way out.
Thank you for the good work you have been doing for Nigerians.

by: Anonymous

may God continue to bless you ordinary Ahmed Isah and the entire brekete family for the good works being done for the less privileged. please advise the nigerian army to call back and commission the officer cadets they denied commisioning as officers after undergoing every training of the army. they are surpose to be members of the DIRECT SHORT SERVICE COURSE 21. And the victims are 21 in number. it was a six months training. others passed out 6th of july. while the message of witdrawal was read to the victims on the second of july same year 2014. because they did not meet up with the cut off marks they were droped. after knowing secrets of weapons and tactice. it was not like that before. after screening those that were shortlisted went tru training and passed out with or without cut off marks met. some of these can go and form up a bad group, nuisance against the innocent and even the government may suffer it. they did not commit any crime at all. Am not one of them, but the army should not train and just send away the trained ones witout good reasons most especially at this odd season of our beloved nation. PLS BREKETE MAKE UNA FITE THIS ONE WELL. THE ARMY CHIEF DEY TRY, BUT DIS ONE NA BAD MARKET FOR NIGER PPL. HEMBELEBEEEEEEE.

I write to express my concerning the level of corruption going on in the section of Power Holding Company of Nigeria(PHCN), Jikwoyi - Abuja.
We are all aware of the insecurity problem the country has been battling in the last decade (specifically this year). If we're fighting corruption and a means to stop anything that might happened as result of attack from the Boko Haram, it should be a concern for every individual and organisations. Mr. Ordinary Ahmed, my concern here is that the section of PHCN in jikwoyi are toying with the lives of the football lovers in Jikwoyi, why am i saying this? When AIT, NTA, etc are showing the ongoing Fifa world cup in Brazil, those operating football viewing centers will go and bribe the PHCN managers in order for them to interrupt the power while a game is about to kicked off, they football lovers will go their viewing centers. They will immediately restored the light as soon as the game is over. pls, sir, we need you to scare this people by giving them a very serious warning that will make them to avoid this ugly behavour. thanks and remain blessed.

Negligence of health care.
by: Anonymous

Good morning Brekete family.
I want to report a case of negligence of health care in Wuse District Hospital.
It happened on 21st May, '14 dat one Hafsat came in labour. She was carryin twins n dat was a premature labour. The 1st twin was delivered at 8:45am, 2nd twin 8:56am. Knowing well dat these babies are premature, they needed immediate attention, hence a paediatrician (Dr Ekueme) from the neonatal unit was alerted.
She however, failed to come probably bc these pple were poor, no money 2 purchase folder n of course, wldnt have a voice to speak for themselves but the twins' father was out to get money from his brother, so she should hav taken them in n attended to them to save those precious lives.
She never went to see them for a start until hours later when the 2nd twin died (due to negligence).
She was again sent for, to come and review the 1st twin b4 that one will die next.
Only then did she come to see the survivor and there was no remorse whatsoever about the loss of one of the twins. The baby was finally taken to the neonatal unit at about 12:50pm for management; only for her to say that 'had d baby been given Aminophilline, he wouldn't have died'.
The father was already on his way wit money but then did the doctor bring out N500 and ask dem 2 get d live baby a folder (I wonder if that was to pacify her conscience). On went the story.
I felt compelled to report this because I want them all to be called at alert, dey should render services without bias. It hurts me soo much to see how some patients are treated simply because they're not financially bouyant or not well placed in the society. Of all things, health services should be rendered without bias or prejudice; so she and others should be called to order.

Secondly, the hospital is so short-staffed in all departments that it makes it very difficult to deliver effective health care and places health workers at risk of stress-related medical conditions. It would be nice if u can kindly appeal to FCDA and minister of FCT to employ more staff.

Finally, pls appeal to the MD of Wuse District Hospital to create a forum for departmental morning reviews even if it is twice in a week such dat activities n health care will be reviewed; mistakes wil be identified and corrected to avoid future occurences. They do so in Asokoro and even UATH(every morning, mon-fri). House officers will be supervised and learn better unlike Wuse whr their house officers are usually not supervised, dey do wateva dey feel is right. Tell me, how do dey get to be better doctors tomorrow? It still boils down to the short-staffed problem.

I really wish these matters will be looked into and changes made.
God bless Brekete family.

TRUSTFUND AND THE EVILS THEREON.
by: JOSEPH PAM

B4 I was sacked out of job by Lion Bank. I used 2 contribute 2 NSITF via Lion Bank. When I was leaving, the bank issued me a statement that revealed my total contributions. In a shot while a similar statement came frm TRUSTFUND showing the scheme has been transferred 2 it by NSITF. I now confronted TRUSTFUND 2 pay me my money, they said de law required until I am 50 yrs. After waiting painfully and tearsfully till last December when I, by God's graceI cloaked 50 yrs, I went to start the process for me to claim my money, I was given a form which I duely signed and submitted. I now asked when I should expect my money they said de later will be sent to Hqtrs in Abuja for proceesing after which a confirmation would be sent to me. After about a month they called me to come to their office to fill another form because the other one was returned for an error in thumbprint. I went and filled the form a second time and thumbprint it . They now send it. So after 1 month I called Jos office to enquire because I felt it was unduely taking too long, they told me they have not heard from Abuja. After 2 months I went to the office and they reluctanly started checking files, they discovered the application was returned to them a second time for thumbprinting. I almost fainted that moment. They pleaded I should fill another one again. I filled it and they said they were going to forward it instantly. I waited for another three months there was nothing. I went to Jos office again. They crosscheck their file and discovered a letter addressed to me has been in their file for over two months. I signed and collected it. The letter confirmed that an account has been opened for me at the TRUSTFUND. The later only stated an accout has been opened for me. I now went ahead seeking clarification, a staff there said I have to fill a funds transfer form so that the money can be transferred frm NSITF to TRUSTFUNd and then I'll be paid. I did that again and submitted the application and was assured I will receive an alert when that has been completed. After a while I went to their website 2 fished out their email but all I could find was an autoreply address. When I write them a reply came instanly that my letter has been receive and that they will get back to me soon. After another long while I fished out their phone numbers but each time I call an automatic customer care responded telling me things just like those of mtn customer care. Sirs/ I am tired and frustrated. I am without a job now battling with four growing childre. My prayer is that this issue be pursued for me and necessary steps be taken to correct the abnormalities of TRUSTFUND. I spoke with a lady in your office last week monday and she collected my email and that she was going to write me but till this moment she's not written. I tried to call again but number unreachable. My email is: jsphpam@gmaim.com, phone number 08032911167. May God prosper and reward your works, amen. JOSEPH PAM, JOS.

Thorough investigations must be carried out because the Manager Peter Nwaeke, and Partners like Cecilia Olugbenga-Kayode, Clement Aligbe, Lovelyn Madu and Jerry Aghahomovo in Apapa are running the call center like a primary school threatening the agents and slaves. Their rights are been trampled on and which i feel is not fair. The New S M (Nike Jagun) is going by what they tell her. i feel the Organisation has critically look at the situation because an happy and satisfied employee will deliver excellence and also make customers happy.

Enough is enough of the corporate slavery. so i will like the management to critically take this matter up because this act is really affecting the performance of the representatives and so as not to tarnish the image of this great organization and kill the zeal of performance in them . it is time to stop this madness.

Alot of call center agents are been robbed daily on Apapa road due to traffic. An agent was stabbed during robbery attack in the face and arm which was posted on the social medias in February some have died and many had miscarriages. The management care less about the agents welfare and security but about their selfish ambitions and targets to frustrate the old agents so as to fire them or make them resign so as to employ new hands to pay peanuts. they are riding on the wings of unemployment in the country.and many are ill because of the crazy schedule which they are not concerned about.
Please note that Agents in VGC demonstrated when salary was paid in Janurary.
Efforcement of the new schedule is been monitored by Task Masters namely the so called Shift Leads that betrayed their colleagues in supporting the management in the implementation of the said rules. they sold their consciences for salary increment. the margin is far apart to that of the other agents.

Been sick on duty or calling in sick is tantamount to absenteeism and you will not be paid for it. at a time they were asked to send mails before going to the restroom. it is an of fence to charge phones, power bank, laptop etc in the office. Also note that last year march the agents been managed by MEMCOS (MTN co-operatives) and now CNSSL were forced to go get tax id with their personal monies when the contractors that managed them were deducting #5000 tax from the agents salary failed to do same. The CCRS that didn't comply were sacked. the so-called contractors are making more monies from each agents annually than the agents themselves. One Hundred naira(#100) is been deducted from every agent salary managed by CNSSL monthly and Two hundred and ten naira (#210) is been deducted for short payment when money is been refunded.

NOTE: there was such enslavery occurence in Jos some years back where agents were under paid by CNNSL and the Online Management team is still patronizing them if they don't have hidden agenda and it was for this reason the agents protested and the call center was shut down. The management of CNSSL are in charge of Mayfair CCRS and they were the one that were used as the cadaver of undue labour. And the salaries deducted from CNSSL CCRS was paid as bonus to the CCRS in Mayfair in February. The christmas gift been given to Staff in Nigeria was converted to money last year, while other service providers paid their representatives in November, CNSSL paid their Representatives in December and also taxed them on the money.
Every month One thousand nine hundred and fifty naira is deducted from the agents salaries for Medicals(THT) multiplied by the numbers of agents signed up by the agents. And they are a times not allowed to use the hospitals of their choice.
Team building has been cancelled and agents now conrtibute money to go for team building. Mother friendly schedule has been shortened to six months instead of one year

Since January 13th 2014 Online Management Team increased the work days of call center agents from 4days to 5days without disclosing salary to be paid. they never intimated the agents of the change in schedule but a mail was sent on the 11th of January by Online Vendor management stating the effect / compliance of the schedule on 13th of January. the salary to be paid was only be disclosed by this month end. meaning they are not confident of the salary to be paid. that is why it is kept secret. Please is it right for an employee not to know the breakdown/ analysis of salary to be paid. Salaries was paid on 26&27th of February and in March salaries was paid on the 29th.
Despite the so-called segmentation of the CCRS their earnings before they were segmented was far better off. Even now some of the CCRS are picking calls beyond their segments. Trainings is been given to call center agents where nine hours of their time is taken but they are been paid for six hours is this not tantamount to robbery of the agents. this is a dubious payment act. At least a break down of their salaries is to be given to them which was done before. they claimed the salary is fixed but invoice are sent to calculate hours worked without specifying what is paid per hour which was done before now. The payment of Overtime was scrapped meaning when you work on public holidays you are been paid normal rates as regular days, the payment for day shift and night is same rate which is not done anywhere. the CCRS are not allowed to bid nor trade their schedule to afford for flexibility because that is what shift jobs are meant to be to give the individuals time to run their lives but that has been struck out. Many cannot afford to go back to school because they Twelve paid days leave and Six unpaid for the year and with the trading and bidding of schedules they trade with colleagues to go to school and do other things conveniently.

Dear Sirs/ Ma

Please i will like to bring to your notice the mismanagement and ill treatment of customer care representatives in Nigeria especially the call center. which is tantamount to corporate slavery by the Online management team and the CCRS service providers. Kindly note that they are termed Independent service provider because they claimed they are not MTNN staff nor are they staff of their service providers. But they are been managed by Vendor Management. Please can anyone tell us who vendor management are because they are the ghost running the call center. please will anyone tell me of the organization that does not intimate their staff of the salary to be paid monthly and the analysis/breakdown of salary paid? Because different numerations was paid in February and March.

About foreigners
by: A foreigner

Good morning Brekete Family. Congratulations for your inspirational radio programme that I hardly miss every morning since I got to know about it. Although it is conducted in Pidgin, I dey manage understand am. My humble comment relates to Ordinary Ahmed's frequent pick on foreigners, particularly this morning, following the senseless bomb blast in Nyanya. I am a foreigner, just like their are thousands of Nigerians in my country The Gambia. I wish Ordinary Ahmed to review his comments. I don't agree that whatever bad is done by foreigners. Imagine if the same is said about Nigerians in my country. After all, almost all the issues featured on the programme involve Nigerians. Such comments may lead to backlash on innocent foreigners and retaliations. I just hope Ordinary Ahmad understands this. A similar situation in 1988 almost caused war between Mauritania and Senegal, after Senegalese nationals were picked on in Mauritania. Senegalese people retaliated and innocent Mauritanians were senselessly killed in Senegal. I consider myself Nigerian, because I live in Nigeria where I earn my living. There is no way I can wish Nigeria bad. I believe most foreigners, if not all, have the same feeling. We pray for peace in Nigeria and in our respective countries.
Salaam to all.

by: ordinary samuel

Where is the faith of Nigerians ,where is the Faith of average man in the society, as we hope that Nigeria will one day change for good with the effort of our able, tireless president ORDINARY AHMED ISA in conjunction with mr president transformation agenda, why then should our program be stopped on the air, where did they want the less privileged to go and seek redress, police, court, human right, we should know that not every citizen can easily have access to law court or police because the expensive nature they are,or is it human right or public complain commission where ones complain will stay there over two to three years un attended to.
PLEASE Mr President, NBC, NBA, NJC and other law enforcement agency we Nigerians are begging for you people to do something and bring our program back on air as you do May GOD ALMIGHTY CONTINUE TO BRING PEACE, UNITY, IN OUR DEAR COUNTRY NIGERIA.

Is Berekete Family Program Finally silenced
by: funkkenny@yahoo.com

Well, it is quite sometime that lovers of this Program Berekete family heard Ahmed lsa the president of the family last. What Agbonlahor said last, was that he is on leave to resume on Monday,17th of June 2013 which was never was till date.l think we deserve to know whether the enemy of Progress had succeeded in convincing the NBC in killing the programme. At any rate l think we deserve a feedback on the matter as matter of urgency. It can be posted on the Berekete website. However,it should be known that if it is meant that the Programme is Banned then Nigeria as nation still has a long way to go.The people parading themselves as politicians in this country have not really learn anything from military misrule of this nation. Can this country ever Progress?I believe Mr President can do something because the programme is propagating your transformation Agenda.Pls do something we beg in the name of God.

where is ordinary Ahmed Isa
by: adeyemi

I think is high time we demand for Ahmed Isa where about, the family is known for truth nothing less than that, pls it will be very good if you unveil this misery of sudden disappearance of our president or has the enemy succeeded in silencing him as he use to tell us,my prayer is that whatever they might have done to kill the programme and the messenger of this message God almighty will expose and put them to shame IJN. but we are not too comfortable with his silence for all this while we want to pray for him but i think we should be informed on his predicament for us to know our prayer point. I believe no matter how tall a tree may be it can not cover the rays of the sunlight.he will surely bounce back in full force in Jesus name but dont let us turn this issue to another Yar`adua let us be informed and updated about him.God bless Ordinary Ahmed God bless brekete family and Nigeria as a whole.

Where is ordinary Hammed Isah
by: Sola Kehinde

Suddenly the programme went off air and everyone is wondering who is offended again.

is it that Nigerians should still behave as if we are in a millitary regime again and be scared of airing out our minds through a man such as ordinary Hammed?

Is the issues of the governor and the Emir the matter or what is wrong.

People are noe in the rummor that he has been shot , I dont see why that should be, but we all should stand by this man

THE LADY IN THE EMIRATE COUNCIL IN NIGER STATE
by: Anonymous

Ordinary Ahmed,
I want to commend the good work God is using you and the entire brekette family doing for the growth of our beloved Country. I remember you asked all members of the family to draw your attention to any area we observe you do not handle well in the cause of the program. The issue of the lady in the emirate council in Niger State should be handled with much caution. Most of us in your family were not too comfortable with your exchange of words with a caller (one Aisha) who called from Asokoro during Monday's programme.

As God will have it, she was later vindicated when you tried getting the Emirate Council Secretary later in the day but he refused to pick his calls before you realized the angle the caller was trying to draw your attention to and you rightly followed that direction in today's program. Thank God you are now making efforts to make the lady explain to Nigerians her side of the story in a neutral environment that is devoid of manipulations. Since the IGP is a member of our family, I think he will be of great help here to ensure the lady's safety so that Nigerians will know the truth of this matter. If the lady voluntarily choose to be a moslem, so be it; it is her right.
But if it is found there is a fowl play somewhere, then, it should be discouraged.
Pleas continue with your the good work, sir; we love you.

CONFUSION IN FEDERAL HOUSING AUTHORITY.
by: Anonymous

Good morning ordinary Ahmed,
The honorable Minister of Land, housing and urban development, Ms. Pepple earlier in the year inaugurated a technical board to over see the affairs of the FHA with a view to reposition the authority without dissolving the Gemade led management. As I write, the FHA has two managements doing same jobs and spending government money. Meanwhile, staff at present are confused where loyalty should be. Since then nothing meaningful is being done. The Hon. Minister is not helping matters at all. She is perhaps carried away by the christen posture of the managing director, arc Gemade. Please , SHOUT this SAVE OUR SOUL message make minister help us.
Thank you.

by: JAMES JEZEI

Good day Ordinary Ahmed, May God continue to be with you and your family. There is one bad thing that is happen in my area at ASO-PADA by Primary school, Mararaba,Nas state. the electricity transformer in the area got spoilt in December 2011, the community made effort by contributing 5000 per house to fixed the transformer, but the transformer falied to respond after repair, in February 2013 PHCN brougth a new transformer to the area, Now a group of people under the auspices of 'community/indegene' have task each house 5000 that the said sum will be use to assist PHCN to channel the phases properly. Sir, my concern is, Does it mean that PHCN is broke? Who asked the community to help PHCN collect money?

OVERHAULING FIRE SERVICE
by: Abdul

I just want to bring to the notice of the government, in case she does not know or have forgotten, that the Federal Fire Service is overdue for a Turn Around Maintenance (TAM), I mean to say overhauling. The level of productivity here is very low, the top management needs to be reshuffled, if not changed. We still operate the 18th Century "Modus Operandi." God bless Nigeria! God bless Federal Fire Service!

A Stepping Stone For Nigerians!!!
by: O.S.A.A

Some Nigerians in the country are facing major problems that they are not confident enough to talk about. But thank God for Brekete Family who have re-ignited the flame of morality within the hearts of the voiceless/scared/deprived Nigerian Citizen. These Nigerians can come out freely and make their complaint regardless of the situation. My short stay in Abuja during the 2012 summer made me realize the great things that Ordinary Ahmed and his team have done for the Nigerians who came on air to voice out their problem.

As the country grows, may we see a rapid change that would lead to a better country (Nigeria)! WELL DONE BREKETE FAMILY! You are a great influence to the improvement of our country and I'm SAYING THANK YOU!

CORRUPTION IN FEDERAL FIRE SERVICE
by: Anonymous

I just want to bring to the notice of the government that Federal Fire Service is full of corruption. A place where a new employee is not paid his benefits and is expected to give his maximum effort to the success of the organization. We have not been paid our arrears, Mileage Allowance, twenty eight (28) days, etc. We were given appointment letters since 2011 but asked to write down 2012 in the Emolument Form, PENSION, etc.
