Obasanjo Endorses Buhari

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has publicly endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Major-General Muhammadu Buhari, for the forthcoming general election in Nigeria.

Obasanjo, who had said last week that he would not speak on the elections until after the polls, broke his vow of silence in Nairobi Monday, where he launched his 1,500-page autobiography.

Obasanjo was President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 under the ruling People's Democratic Party, PDP. Obasanjo has however been very critical of the Present administration since his relationship with the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan got strained.

HE BELONGS TO THE PAST NEW
by: Anonymous

Some people belong to the unpleasant past of this nation, they had golden opportunities to put this country on the path of progress, they failed ... such people must remain in the past ... they have no place in the present or future of this country. Nigeria most move on. The youths are no longer the leaders of tomorrow .. we are the leaders of today ... We must stand up to our responsibilities to move this county forward.

OBJ has no moral right to speak ... NEW
by: Anonymous

Some villagers are chanting and singing that they are looking for who stole the community goat, meanwhile the man that stole the goat is in their mist.

APC campaign has been that PDP has wasted 16 years of civilian rule, and they are bringing 'change'. The man that spent 8 years of this 16yrs was under OBJ and he is part of this supposed change agent.

The second 8 years obviously has been better than the first 8 years under OBJ, when Obj reigned like an Emperor, handpicking those who will occupy every political position in the name of election, so what change are we expecting from these people.

And more importantly if OBJ indeed believes APC that PDP has wasted 16 years, he has been principally responsible for this, so he should first come out and public apologize to Nigerians before making any other statement.
