Politics In Abuja

Politics in Abuja is very central and significant. Abuja is the federal capital city of Nigeria, the oil-rich and most populous black nation. It is home to ASO ROCK, Nigeria's presidential villa. It also hosts many federal ministries, parastatals, embassies, international organisations and government agencies. Abuja is  home of the administrative headquarters of ECOWAS.

Although the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory is appointed by the President of Nigeria, there are other elective positions. These include the representatives of FCT at the Senate and House of representative. Other elective positions include the Area council Chairmen and counselors.
