Abuja people, A-B-jans as they are fondly called are the
people who live or work in Abuja, the Federal Capital of Nigeria.
These are people from the various tribes in Nigeria namely
the Gwaris, Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis etc. There are also foreign
nationals like Americans, Britons, Indians, Koreans, Israelis etc.
The predominant indigenous groups are the Gwari people (also
called Gbabyi ) and the Koro people. There are also people of Gade, Egbura,
Gwandara, Bassa and Gana-gana.
generally industrious and very busy people but they also like entertainment.
They will normally work most day and later retire to entertainment spots,
worship places or their homes later in the evenings.
ABjans are mostly
good, hospitable and religious people. There are however few bad eggs in their
midst; so exercise necessary caution and due diligence before committing to
serious business transactions.
